I first become actively interested in Web Design while living in Canada, close to 10 years ago now. With my entire family back in Australia, setting up a website was the most logical way of sharing day to day activities, information about local events and generally providing a new source of learning about Canada for all my family and friends in Australia - we were the "GreensOnTheGo".

While my career has always been in pursuit of leading edge technologies, it has recently become obvious that the Internet will be the core of all communications (personal and business) and information exchange. Having a strong knowledge of web coding platforms and the techniques utilised within the world wide web will be a invaluable resource to any business seeking a healthy future in these rapidly changing times.

I enjoyed my time learning Web Design and Development so much that I started my own business, "MBG Web Services" in September 2011, which I still operate on a part time basis today.

In my first year at TAFE I learnt the fundamentals of planning, designing and building a commercially viable website - of which several are presented within this portfolio.

My second and third years, i.e. the Web Development Diploma course, accelerated my coding understanding and skills skills to the next level, enabling me with the knowledge to develop kick-ass web code and demonstrate extreme web services capabilities.
