EIGHT KIDS

Growing up with 7 brothers and sisters provided an excellent learning environment - especially around survival techniques.

I have lived outside of Australia for 9 years:

 •  London - 2 years

 •  San Jose - 2 years

 •  Ottawa - 5 years

Personal Interests

I enjoy Mountain Biking, family bush retreat, tennis, squash, philately. I even operated my own philatelic business (Greens' Stamps) for a number of years

Long Time Philatelist

Collecting stamps has been a passion of mine since I starting earning money as a paperboy at the age of 14. I also registered an operated my own stamp business, Greens Stamps, for several year in the 80s. Fiji Stanley Gibbons No20 6 cents on 3 pence Roman VR overprint

322SQN AAFC

From 2009 to 2012 I was the President of the P&F of Australia's largest Air Force Cadets unit, the 322
Squadron is based at the Timor Barracks in Dundas, NSW

HSC Medal WINNER

Awarded the Benedict College Medal for first place in 3 Unit Engineering Science.

Sydney Uni Ingenuity

Before starting at Sydney University in 1988 I participated in, and won, an Ingenuity Competition run be the Engineering Facility.

Athletics

My entire family have competed in athletics to various levels. I favoured high jumps - setting a new regional record in year 6, and a 3rd place in state comp in year 10.

US Muscle Car

Living in America meant having to own a muscle car to fit into the California lifestyle - I loved my 25th anniversary V8 mustang convertible, as did my kids.

Bush Retreat

Tucked away in the Blue Mountains is a little block of land with a house on it, a house that I built by hand - this is the Green's bush retreat.
